The George Washington University of Peace (Reg. No. : L19000253320) was incorporated by the government of the District of Florida in 2019, chartered by an Act of Congress in 1893. It was functioned as Centre for Peace Studies in Sri Lanka from 2004 and registered as a University in Florida, USA

International Accreditation Organization USA

IAO is an international quality assurance agency, working to improve & establish education standards of institutes all over the world. With its global network of experts, IAO grants accreditation to educational institutions, corporations, professionals and qualified individuals.

The George Washington University of Peace has successfully met all of the IAO’s accreditation requirements and as a result has been awarded Full Accreditation by IAO. The institute has been awarded Full Accreditation after evaluating it on IAO standards of the global best practices in Organizational Management, Academic Management and Institutional Performance. IAO’s full accreditation is a proof that The George Washington University of Peace offers education to its students that is on par with global education standards and that the institute is fully committed towards continuous improvement of its educational standards.

The International Accreditation Service (IAS) provides objective evidence that an organization operates at the highest level of ethical, legal and technical standards. IAS is a non-profit, public-benefit corporation that has been providing accreditation services since 1975.

IAS accredits a wide range of companies and organizations including governmental entities, commercial businesses, and professional associations. IAS accreditation programs are based on recognized national and international standards that ensure domestic and/or global acceptance of its accreditation.
